Due to damage confirmed on the elevated railway structure caused by the earthquake that occurred off the eastern coast of Aomori Prefecture on December 8, 2025, operations of the JR Hachinohe Line have been suspended on the entire section between Hon-Hachinohe Station and Kuji Station.
As of December 10, 2025, no alternative transportation services (such as substitute buses) have been arranged by JR.
Until service is restored, please use taxis or other means of transportation if you need to travel other than on foot.
