Our mission
NPO Michinoku Trail Club was founded in August 2017 in order to maintain, manage and promote usage of the Michinoku Coastal Trail, a long distance trail that offers the chance to experience rich ways of life and lessons from the scars of natural disaster through a journey on foot. We work in cooperation with a wide network including local governments and private groups from the 28 municipalities and four prefectures along the trail.
We are continually looking for new ways to gain more funding such as subsidies and grants, but our work is made possible by the support of many people and our work is in need of even more funding. We would greatly appreciate your donations to help us carry out our mission and realize our vision for the future.
How donations are used
We carefully and effectively use the donations we receive as we manage the Michinoku Coastal Trail for work including essential trail maintenance and to fund new MCT-related projects.
