里山の集落と山の景色をまとめて楽しみたい方におすすめ!
古くから言い伝えられてきた伝説が数多く残る入谷。里山農村の美しい風景を眺め、地域の信仰の対象”巨石”などを辿ります。
田んぼに囲まれている入谷地区、秋を感じるこの時期は黄金に輝く稲穂の間をすすむ、他の季節では味わえない美しさがあります。
全長7.0km/高低差200mの中級者向けコースです。
※今回は特別にモニター価格での開催です。

Here’s some news about an upcoming event by Okinakura EELs, a group active in the grand natural areas of Ishinomaki, Tome and Minamisanriku.
This event is recommended for those who want to enjoy both rural village and mountain scenery in the same day.
Iriya, home to many ancient legends. Enjoy the lovely rural landscape and visit spots including giant stones which are local objects of worship.
Iriya is surrounded with rice fields which will be shining in golden autumn glory during this event. As you walk, you’ll enjoy beautiful scenery that can only be enjoyed during this time of the year.
This will be a 7.0 km walk with an elevation change of 200 meters, suitable for intermediate hikers.

■ Date: October 9th (Sunday), 2021
■ Time: 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM
■ Meeting point: Kosha no Yado Sansankan parking lot (10-1 Yamanokami, Iriya, Minamisanriku Town, Motoyoshi-gun, Miyagi Prefecture 986-0782)
■ Who can join: Elementary schoolers to adults, people who can hike the course
■ # participants: 10 people
■ Cost: 1,000 yen (special discount price, paid in cash on the day of)
■ What to wear: clothes and shoes suitable for walking
■ What to bring: a hat, a drink, participation fee, health insurance card
■ Other notes: if the event is canceled due to rough weather or other reasons, participants will be contacted via email by 7:00 pm of the day before the event.
