Using boats between Miyato and the Urato Islands

0 0

Boat rides for the 2023 season are from April 1st to October 31st, 2023.

Hikers can travel by reserved fisherman’s boats between Miyato in Higashi-Matsushima and the Urato Islands in Shiogama City (Sabusawajima Island).
This boat line was started especially for the Michinoku Coastal Trail, and is exclusive to hikers. Because it’s not a regular boat line, hikers need to make a reservation at least 5 days in advance.
