A whale carcass has washed ashore on the northern beach near the hand-dug tunnel at Kitayamahama. It is significantly decayed, and depending on the wind direction, there is a strong odor. There is a risk of explosion due to the buildup of decomposition gases, as well as potential viral infection, so please do not approach the area.
