【Latest Operation Status Update (Updated: December 16, 2:00 PM)】
An announcement has been made regarding the measures starting from Monday, December 22, 2025.
- Substitute Bus Service Section: JR Hachinohe Line: Between Hachinohe Station and Same Station
- Special Train Service Section: JR Hachinohe Line: Between Same Station and Kuji Station
- Implementation Period: From Monday, December 22, 2025, until further notice

Due to damage confirmed on the elevated railway structure caused by the earthquake that occurred off the eastern coast of Aomori Prefecture on December 8, 2025, operations of the JR Hachinohe Line have been suspended on the entire section between Hon-Hachinohe Station and Kuji Station.
As of December 10, 2025, no alternative transportation services (such as substitute buses) have been arranged by JR.
Until service is restored, please use taxis or other means of transportation if you need to travel other than on foot.
