Some sections on the Michinoku Coastal Trail need regular maintenance (cutting grass, cleaning up fallen trees, etc) and trail maintenance events are held to manage those. Participate and you’ll not only help keep our trails in shape, you can enjoy spending time with local people and being active. We’re looking very much forward to having your participation and support!

We post information about upcoming maintenance events on this website and on the Michinoku Coastal Trail Facebook page, but registered Michinoku Coastal Trail trail maintenance volunteers can also directly receive the latest news about future trail maintenance events by email. We highly encourage anyone interested to register.
