令和7年2月26日（水）に大船渡市赤崎町合足（あったり）地内で発生した林野火災は、3月9日（日）の17時に鎮圧が宣言されました。三陸駅から盛駅の区間のトレイルルートは被害の実態を明らかにする必要があり、安全が確認されるまで当面の間は、引き続き通行不可とさせていただきます。そのため、三陸駅から盛駅間は三陸鉄道をご利用ください。被災された地域の方々や、安全確認を行う現場の方々に迷惑をかけることになるので、通行不可区間には絶対に立ち入らないようお願いいたします。

【Update March 10, 2025: Forest Fire in Attari area, Akasaki-cho, Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan】

The forest fire that occurred in the Attari area of Akasakicho, Ofunato City, on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, was declared under control at 17:00 on Sunday, March 9. The trail route between Sanriku Station and Sakari Station requires a thorough assessment of the damage, and for safety reasons, it will remain closed until further notice.

Please use the Sanriku Railway between Sanriku Station and Sakari Station.

Entering the restricted area is strictly prohibited, as it may cause inconvenience to local residents affected by the disaster and those conducting safety inspections. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
