令和7年2月26日（水）に大船渡市赤崎町合足（あったり）地内で森林火災が発生し、現在も延焼拡大しています。延焼速度や被害の及ぶ範囲は現段階では予測できず、このエリア広く通行不可区間とします。合足・綾里地区住民全員に避難指示が発令されている状況で、三陸鉄道も盛駅―三陸駅で運休となっています。
大変ご心配をおかけ致しますが、ご理解を頂きたくお願い申し上げます。

【March 2, 2025: Forest Fire in Attari area, Akasaki-cho, Ofunato City, Iwate Prefecture, Japan】
On Wednesday, February 26, 2025, a forest fire broke out in Attari area of Akasaki-cho, Ofunato City, and is still spreading. The speed of fire spread and the extent of damage cannot be predicted at this time, and this area has been widely designated as a no-go zone.
Evacuation orders have been issued for all residents in Attari and Ryori areas, and the Sanriku Railway has suspended service from Sakari  Station to Sanriku Station.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused and ask for your understanding.

*Updated on March 2nd: Sanriku Railway’s service between Sakari Station and Kamaishi Station is suspended, but a substitute bus is in operation.
